The 2026 California Dairy Sustainability Summit will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Visalia Convention Center. Industry leaders, policymakers, dairy farmers, and other leading experts will take the stage to talk about the future of California dairy, efforts to address water scarcity, changing regulations, and the latest strategies for improving economic and environmental sustainability.
Registration for dairy farmers is $50 and includes full access to sessions, breakouts, the exhibit hall, breakfast, lunch, and the closing reception. An early bird rate is currently available for all non-farmer registrants. This one-day event is designed to help equip dairy farmers with helpful information and promote collaboration.
Speakers will share insights about critical issues, especially the industry’s ongoing strategy to secure a better water future. Attendees will learn about innovative technologies and on-farm strategies for efficiency, nitrogen management, methane reduction, animal health, and more. Experts will also provide both local and global perspective on dairy sustainability, as well as the changing food system landscape, human health and wellness priorities, consumer behavior, and where dairy fits in.
The California Dairy Sustainability Summit is co-hosted by Dairy Cares, California Dairy Research Foundation, California Milk Advisory Board, California Dairy Quality Assurance Program, and the Dairy Council of California.
Since 2018, the Summit has recognized California dairies’ world-leading achievements, while promoting further advancement. In partnership with local, state, and federal programs, California’s dairy farms have made tremendous investments in this area. The Summit helps to share awareness about incentive programs while promoting the ongoing need for more funding to support continued on-farm investments.
Enjoy a full day of learning and networking together as the California dairy sector continues to lead the way in nourishing lives through sustainable dairy farming. More than 100 dairy farmers attended last year’s event, which was the first to be held in Visalia. Visit cadairysummit.com for more information and to register.
